| Short description | From mid-1969 Parlophone LP's were issued onto a black and silver label. This is commonly called the 70's label, because it lasted through most the 1970's and into the 1980's. The earliest and rarest variety of the 1970's label (up through 1973) is nicknamed the "One Mark" label because only one EMI logo appears on the label. This Holloies’ album is "One Mark" label LP. Brief musical info: Musicians: Annie Haslam - lead & backing vocals; Jon Camp - bass, backing vocals; John Tout - keyboards, backing vocals; Rob Hendry - electric guitar, backing vocals; Terence Sullivan - drums, percussion, backing vocals. Guest: Francis Monkman (then of Curved Air) – VCS3 synthesiser. With her classically trained voice, Haslam has one of the classiest and best vocals ever used in the field of progressive rock. The band blend prog-rock with classical elements and the superb final song ‘Rajah Khan’ has (obviously) strong Eastern influences. On this track, guest Francis Monkman contributes a superb synthesiser solo. For those yet to hear one of the more original bands of this era this is a great place to start. Their early albums are far more ‘progressive’ and less commercial
