| Short description | UK 1970 1st pressing on the conventional black vinyl. The superb debut LP by Curved Air was blighted by its initial issue as a picture disc - this seemed like a nice idea at the time, and in those days was still something of a novelty, but the record suffered from excessive surface noise. Far preferable for listening, therefore, is this 1st UK pressing on thick, heavy, black vinyl. Difficult to find now - this beautiful album is the best the band ever made. Gorgeous vocals by Sonja Kristina with the hypnotic electric violin of Darryl Way as well as Francis Monkman's evocative work on guitar, organ, piano, Mellotron and VCS3
