| Short description | ‘Supreme Psychedelic Underground’ by 'Hell Preachers Inc.' on the original Marble Arch Records label MALS 1169 from 1969. This is probably the most sought after record on the Marble Arch label and one of the most mysterious albums ever issued. A one-off album with a cover and labels that give nothing away at all. No doubt that this is either a known band under a pseudonym, or an excursion by session musicians with some studio time, and intent on letting out their psychedelic urges on the unsuspecting public! “Supreme Psychedelic Underground” album is said to have been recorded by Deep Purple, which band members have always denied. In any case, this sounds very close to the sound of “Shades Of Deep Purple” album. What is sure, if anyone likes the early Deep Purple sound, this will delight as well. The playing on this certainly does have a trademark sound and quality going for it! Whoever it may be - it is well documented that this is worthwhile as a psych classic
